I have been working for a large grocery chain for 22 years now. Back in 2004, I decided to get a degree in Business Administrations, after being hired in my company's maintenance/construction department. I felted like this is what I want to do so I changed my degree to Construction Management.
I work in a Consulting firm, have 7yrs of experience in IT Security. My role is more of an advisory consultant and managing the IT Security projects. Apart from PMP, I have ITIL, Six Sigma Green Belt certifications.
I’m a Project manager working in the Telecommunication industry for over 12 year and besides project management role I’m also responsible for performing the program management for our company one of prime key customer and I’m mainly responsible for building the network infrastructure by deploying our company network equipment for data, storage, voice and video services.
My name is Absy KRDEY, 34-year-old, Married and have two kids. I am originally from Syria, Aleppo, and I have been in Tokyo, Japan for 11 years. I graduated from Tokyo University with a Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, and currently, I work for Emerson Valves and Controls Japan. We are mainly focused on oil & gas projects. I have been working in this Industry for over 4 years now. I started as an application Engineer and came to be a project manager. For me, the PMP certificate journey was a unique and priceless experience.
My name is Anas, working in software industries for the past 9 years. I started as a software test engineer moved to different roles before settling for senior Quality control; I passed my Project Management Professional (PMP)® in 2017 and PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® in 2018.
I am an IT professional with over 14 years of experience. I live in India, am married and have an 8-year-old daughter. My wife is a homemaker. I am spiritually inclined and like to pray. I thank my parents for these values. I like reading books and solving problems with my teams. I started my career with C++ programming and subsequently moved to Project management and Service Delivery roles. Currently, I am working as a Lean consultant in my organisation. I am fascinated by Lean and Agile mindset and am a student of team collaboration techniques. I have completed both Project Management Professional (PMP)® and PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)®PMI-ACP® certifications.
I am a happy father of two daughters and a son. I am also a CMA with a strong finance background and project management experience. If I look back, all my career I have been involved in projects. This looks a bit strange but that's the way I have crafted my career and it is true. How I did it, its very easy, invariably every organization has issues; issued related to processes, productivity, reporting etc. What I have done all my life I have picked-up issues and have resolved them.
I am Sowmya Maya, working as a Project Manager in the field of Transportation Engineering in the government sector. I have been managing various capital transportation infrastructure projects for the past 10 years and started my career as a Traffic Engineer. I obtained my Master's Degree in Transportation from the University of California at Berkeley and Bachelors Degree from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. Since I got into the Project Management part of my career, it has been my goal to get the PMP® certification. PM Prepcast was very helpful and made it easy for me to achieve my goal.
I am a married father of three human boys and a male Border Collie named "Hoss". About one year ago I transitioned from the emergency management and public safety fields to the private sector and now work as an IT Project Manager at an academic medical center in Richmond, Virginia. I’ve been practicing my core skills of helping teams develop S.M.A.R.T. objectives, creating multi-disciplinary teams and organizations, coordinating and sharing resources and connecting each of these efforts with effective communications for over a decade.
My name is Sumit Chopra, I was born, raised and studied in India but migrated to Australia 11 years ago and have been working in the Australian Oil and Gas sector for most of those 11 years. My original qualification was Mechanical Engineering with a Post Graduation Diploma in Advanced Computing from CDAC-ACTS India. After my studies, I started my working career with the Indian Ministry of Defence, in their Engineering and Project Management department and after three and a half years had the opportunity to move to Australia as a skilled migrant.
I’m an engineering consultant professional from the power industry with a work history involving projects located in both the US and Asia. I’ve recently decided to return to the US for good and, a couple of weeks ago, accepted a position in southern California that aligns well with my career interests. Most of the project management positions I applied for while pursuing new opportunities either required or strongly preferred candidates with PMP® credentials. As I pursued these new opportunities, I certainly felt that I had a leg up on numerous other job candidates with my recently obtained PMP certification.
I am a military officer with over 9 years on active duty. Currently, I am in graduate school and took a project management course and opted to pursue PMP® certification after completing the course. A mission in the military really can be considered as a project and I wanted to pursue the gold standard in project management certification. Sometime after I retire, I am interested in transitioning into a civilian role in project management.
I am Satish, working in the software industry for the past 15 years. I started as a .NET developer and moved to different roles before settling for Project Manager. I have managed projects from India(offshore) and USA(onsite). Having done the job at both locations pose a great advantage since I am able to think the terms from every end. PMP® was my dream from the beginning of my career. Achieving it through PM PrepCast was easier than I expected. Thanks to Cornelius's enthusiastic voice that keeps ringing in my ears even after I am done with PMP.
I moved to the United States from Great Britain in 2010. Since then I have worked in industries as diverse as hospitality, non-profit and finance. I have been focusing on IT project management for the last four years and currently, work as an information systems PM for an insurance agency. I realized project management was for me when I noticed how many projects I was organizing outside of my day job! I have helped to organize fundraisers and weekend-long events for over 200 people, not to mention several cross-country and international moves as a military spouse. Project management is one of those great skills that has applications in almost any situation.
My name is Andrew Jeffrey and I currently work with the Guyana Government as a Consultant - support engineer. I also freelance as a structural engineer. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering in 2004, my Master's degree in Project Management in 2014 from the University of the West Indies (Trinidad) and I completed my Master's degree in Structural and Foundation Engineering from Heriot-Watt University (Scotland, UK) in 2018 - just one month before starting my 2.5 months study journey for the PMP® exam.
I am currently working as UX Program Manager for an Enterprise collaboration platform. I have more than 10 years of Product & Program Management experience in E-commerce, Retail, and SaaS (Software as a service) products. I have studied business management and I live in Bangalore, India. A major part of my work involves cross-functional collaboration, process optimization, managing team performance, and end-to-end implementation of projects.
