A medical graduate, I am a public health specialist working in the humanitarian sector. My association with UN Organizations and with my current employer, International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) spans over a decade. I always felt that I needed to accomplish the prestigious PMP certification. I achieved the milestone in September this year. The journey does not end here. I intend to excel in the field of Project Management through continued efforts in academics as well as learning from my peers. To me the experience in the field, is essential to my success.

I am a general manager working in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. After I passed the PMP exam, I also passed the PMI-RMP exam.

My journey on taking the PMP® exam was really tough, but the certificate was not just my motive but also to become a real-time project manager with great knowledge in my entire journey. Before I got my PMP® certification, I took an MBA in projects management, HR verification, a green belt in quality, and complete knowledge of conflict resolution and strong contract knowledge by getting classes for FIDIC and construction law as I am a civil engineer. The PM PrepCast™ lessons helped me a lot to understand topics and definitely passed my PMP exam.

I have been a data scientist with 11 years of experience. An MSc, MBA, LSSBB, working with applied materials in India. When I took the PMP® exam, my objective was to score above target in the exam (one of the toughest professional exams I've known). I finished the exam thirty minutes earlier.

I have been an IT project manager for the past 15 years in the software industry, specifically in the development of custom software for SMBs. Prior to this role, I was a software developer. Because the PMP designation is global, it was important for me to obtain my certification.

I have been a project manager for about 6yrs now. I used to play the role of RTE of Client Engagement unit but after the reorganization, I moved to another role. I am now working as part of the global team of Product and Client Engagement team, whose primary responsibility is to make a business case for every cost we have in the company and plan how to recover them. I play the role of a scrum master for the team, on top of being a PM. The team works with the Product Management team to provide guidance on financial and forecasting perspective.

I am a Civil Engineer registered in the Philippines, ASEAN Engineer and recently got my credential as a PMP. I have various experience in construction works and underground power cable (direct-buried and utility tunnel, up to 400kV) installation works. I am an Electrical Engineer. But I have changed my career focus to the supply chain and Public procurement arena. I have achieved a Masters in Procurement and Supply Management(MPSM) and MCIPS from CIPS UK. I am working in this procurement and supply chain field for more than 4 years. Now I am working as a Procurement Specialist in a Project funded by IFAD-UN. Before this, I was involved in a bigger Power Plant construction project also. I like to call myself an IT Professional morphing into an Agile Project Manager, my IT career started out in AT&T Inc where I worked for 19 years in roles as an Oracle DBA, Application and Web Developer as well as some System Administration chores. This guided my trajectory towards project management which is as wide and all-encompassing as it can be, it is one discipline that challenges you daily and keeps you learning for you to be current within the knowledge space and keep up with its growth.

I am a computer engineer with a PhD in Operations Research. Because of that, I love to enhance process efficiency, promote resource optimization and thorough planning of activities. Project management soon became a framework for all these attitudes to express themselves to their full extent. While spending many years as a scientist in the academia, I gained experience in grants management.

I am a Project Manager to a federal contractor for the US Government but before that, I worked for the federal government directly. I have over 10 years of experience with IT project management from new software installs and upgrades to software development. As my mentor told me, "Hope is not a project plan!"

I am an IT Program Manager, working in the financial industry in New York. I have been working as a Project/ Program Manager for the last 12 years. Before that, I worked as a Solution Architect & Developer in Data Visualization projects. I enjoy working on conceptualizing a project to taking it to the finish line.
