Student Profile: Vemal Raja, PMP
I hold a PhD in engineering, and have been working on projects for the last 8.5 years. I decided to finally pursue my PMP certification to compliment my PRINCE 2 Practitioner certificate. I wanted to move into much larger, complex projects and realized PMP was the way to get the right kind of attention. My current employer recognizes this effort and it has been paying off handsomely for me thus far.
My Name Is Ayman Shawaly working at Salma Structural Engineering (SSE) SSE Company, a consulting company in management and supervision of Construction projects. I am working as an Electrical projects Manger in SSE projects in KSA.
I am Prashant Shah, 15 years of telecom, health care, Legal, and finance experienced person.
I am originally from Milan, Italy where I obtained a M. Sc. in Political Sciences and International Economics. After 4 years working for governmental agencies in commercial and financial roles, I moved to Denmark where I have been living ever since.
I am mechanical engineer with an energy construction company in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. I've been working as an engineer since 2007, and have been practicing Project Management in the trenches since 2011.
My name is Mohammed Thasveer, I am a Civil Engineer by Profession with a masters in business administration. 16 years of experience in the construction industry. In November 2015 I passed the PMP which I value much and hope to go further ahead in the Project Management field.
I work as an Engineering Program Manager at Lockheed Martin Transportation and Security Solutions based in Maryland, USA. I have worked in the Aviations domain for over 17 years.
My name is Derek Walsh and I reside in Washington DC. I am an enlisted member in the United States Coast Guard and I am 28 years old. My main job is to deal with USCG's Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives. A majority of my project management experience is a direct result from new requirements to USCG ordnance programs that I was in charge of implementing. I recently acquired my PMP and soon I will be starting my CSM course. I exit the military in July 2016 and look forward to using my skills in the private sector.
I am an IT professional and work for Cognizant Technologies and am designated as Manager-Projects. I am currently engaged in Banking and Financial sector for more than 10 years. I have completed multiple project deliveries while in India and now in the USA and have led team sizes up to 20 people and have been instrumental in handling multi-location project set-up and bring them to BAU modes with my primary role as technology project manager and lead.
I am Angela Moll, I work in the technology industry and have been a PM for over 6 years. My work experience has had me working with projects that range from $2 million to $200 million.

I currently live in Melbourne, Australia, and this is where I have been for the past 15 years.
I currently live in Edinburgh, Scotland and after 20 years in the legal sector found my career took an unexpected change in 2008 moving from the private sector to the public sector.
I am originally from Denver, CO, I moved to Los Angeles in 2000 after finishing my BA in International Affairs/Japanese from the University of Colorado at Boulder. I did Sales & Marketing (including running lots of projects/events!) for 6 years at a 3D Animation software company.
I am the Director of TransAtlantic Client Relations for one of the original 10 software companies in the world, Cincom Systems, Inc. Project involvement for me has included customer-focused projects such as implementation, business analysis, and systems migration. Additionally, I have been involved in internal business initiatives surrounding of practice development and program feasibility studies. I work in Cincom’s world headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio.
I owe my PMP to OSP International and by that it is always a pleasure to share whatever information i could share to help other OSP PMP Students/PMP aspirants pass their PMP Examination.
I am currently managing a product development group in a small technology company in the US’s northeast. I have managed many programs over the past 25 years, going back to when EV was called BCWP, both with domestic and foreign customers, on the military and commercial sides. My background is electrical engineering and I still carry out engineering level tasks as I love hands on work. After all these years, becoming a PMP seemed to be a good way to capitalize on my experience while adding some of the fundamentals that I had not been exposed to formally.
I am a seasoned ICT practitioner with in excess of 13 years experience. Over the years I have developed competences in several ICT domains which include but not limited to ICT Programs and Projects Management, ICT Enterprise Architecture Development and Management, ICT System/ Business Analysis and Management, ICT Governance, ICT Service Management and Information Security.
I began my studies for the PMP certification in September 2014 when I began a project management course at the University of Toronto. As that course came to a close, I found that certain concepts were challenging for me. As a result, I decided to obtain additional PMP exam materials. Ultimately, I earned my PMP certification on April 14, 2015 and passed the exam on my first attempt. I found the PM PrepCast to be an excellent resource - I watched several of the lectures multiple times to better understand the material. In addition, I also found the OSP International PM Exam Simulator to be an outstanding product (and a great supplement to the PM PrepCast for the serious student. My background is in risk management and vendor management at one of Canada's largest companies, the Bank of Montreal.
